The #1 Exercise Program for Fighting Parkinson’s Disease
A program dedicated to helping people with Parkinson’s disease (PD) manage their symptoms and maintain a quality of life Delay the Disease is a fitness program designed to empower people with PD to take control of the disease with daily exercise.
The empowering results of our Delay the Disease exercise program can help participants:
- Move about with ease and confidence in a crowd
- Get out of bed or rise from a chair independently
- Improve handwriting
- Dress independently
- Diminish worry that stiffness, slow steps and other symptoms are obvious
- Regain a sense of moving with normality
We will participate in cardio, educational, balance, coordination, multitasking, and strength building activities, as well as addressing an area of mobility during every session.
Activities can be modified to fit each person’s need, from sitting to running and jumping.
